Greyhound Rescue has been caring for retired and injured Greyhounds for 25 years, re-homing those that were able to be re-homed, giving continued care to those who for whatever reason had to see their lives out at the rescue.

Financially it has been a continuing struggle, sometimes with as little as £30 in the bank, and having to raise a personal loan to be able to continue.

In after a 7 year battle with the local council it was hoped to build purpose built kennels for the dogs, but the costs were to expensive.

Over the last 12 months the fortunes on the Charity have changed and due to generous Legacies there is the chance to fulfil that dream and make safe the future prospects of the Charity, but there is a shortfall in finances to allow immediate progress.

Any monies donated whether £5.00 or £5,000 will all go to the welfare of these sadly mistreated dogs who give their all in love and companionship in a home, asking for nothing more than a meal and a duvet to lye on.
