Hi our names are Opal and Gem, and we are looking for a special home where we can be together.

Opal and Gem were brought into the Rescue together nearly a year ago, as they had been taken away from their previous owner due to neglect.

Opal is nearly 3 years old and is a black and white female greyhound and Gem is an 8 year old black female greyhound, who is the mother to Opal.

To watch the two of them play together is a joy, if Opal gets out of hand whilst playing with her toys, Gem calmly intervenes and takes them off her and puts them in the kennel with her, which ends many times in a game of tug of war, and mother usually wins!!

They are both extremely loving dogs, with each other and with people and have a wonderful gentle nature. They ideally suit a family that can spend alot of time with them, and help them adapt in loving and caring environment.

Opal and Gem would not be suitable with anyone who has cats!
