Strider is a  2 and a half years old Saluki X, and came from a Rescue Centre, where he had been for a few weeks, with very little attention given to him, while he was there.

Strider is looking for a home with an owner with some experience and who is prepared to spend time with him, as he has had a very bad start in life!! We have been told that he used to belong to a group of Gypsies had him chained up and used him for rabbiting. He was then sold on to a number of other people and ultimately ended up on the streets. This has left him understandably with a lot of mental scars.He is terrified if anyone raises their voice, and he has been used to been tied up or confined to small spaces, which he shows be walking in small circles before he lays down

He would need someone that would be prepared to help him with his emotional stress and give him the love and the stability that he needs so much. He would benefit greatly with training classed as he is not at all sociable with other dogs, steming from having to survive for food against other dogs. He would also NOT be suitable with anyone who has a cat.
